2015-2024
Baseball
I started playing baseball for the Del Mar Little League at the age of 8, and here I am in my second year of playing with the AA Rockhounds, and I’m pitching. It was a great experience to meet a lot of people who I still know today. It’s lifelong friendships that remind us of where we came from, and these bonds will never be broken.
Here I am here on my 13th birthday with one of the best pitchers in the MLB, Joe Musgrove, who pitched the first no-hit game ever for the San Diego Padres’ franchise history.
This was the first of 4 All-Star Teams that I made for Del Mar Little League, and it was really fun because the season would end, and then we were able to play during the summer and spend more time doing what we loved! 12 players were chosen out of hundreds of players, so it made me feel special
This is one of my greatest achievements in baseball, being able to make the Torrey Pines High School baseball team during my freshman year, especially since Torrey Pines is the most winning baseball team in San Diego.
Halfway through high school, I switched schools. It was really challenging at first to join a new high school team halfway through my high school career, but once the season got underway, and I got to know my teammates, I was thrilled to share the field with such an awesome group of people. It was a great experience, and I made some amazing memories I will take with me forever.
2021
Football
I started playing flag football when I was 9 years old, and we won the regional division championship that year! I played quarterback, and it was really fun because my Dad was also the coach. In total, I played flag football for 4 years. I understand now that this was a foundational period for me, as it allowed me to see my father in a leadership role, and I learned a lot about positive reinforcement, listening skills, and effective communication.
This was my first time playing tackle football during my freshman year of high school. Through playing, I got to meet a lot of people at my school, since the season started before school even started. It was less about winning and more about community building. I’m grateful that football allowed me to make new friends and feel comfortable in my new surroundings when the first day of high school began!
2015-2019
Soccer
Like baseball, I started playing soccer at a young age, and I had a lot of fun. It’s my second-favorite sport behind baseball, and I usually play defense and midfield. I would have continued to play if it weren’t for my commitment to playing baseball. To this day, soccer has a special place in my heart, and I continue to enjoy watching it played all around the world. Being the most popular sport in the world, I like how soccer brings people together from all backgrounds and nationalities.
2012-PRESENT
Fishing
I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember. It really serves as a way for me to have fun on a sunny day, but also a relaxing way to get away from the stresses of everyday life. I’ve been fortunate to share my fishing adventures with my sister Kristin and my Dad. I’ve caught Mahi Mahi in Cabo San Lucas, Large-Mouthed Bass in Vermont, and also Rainbow Trout while fly-fishing in Scotland.
